“Compliance scheme” is defined as non-profit organization based on the principles published by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization in order fulfill the obligations arising from Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Control Regulation. The regulation acronym in Turkey is AEEE.

In this context, TUBISAD has made required applications to in order to fulfill the requirements of the relevant WEEE legislation and to become a “Compliance scheme” of Category 3 TV - Monitors and Category 4 Information and Telecommunication and Consumer Equipment categories.

TUBISAD duties awarded by Turkish Republic of Ministry of Environment and Urbanization dd. 21 August 2015 aims to provide both the maximum profit and environmental advantage from the value of WEEE collected.
